- About Jonathan Rourke
- Jonathan was born and raised in Texas. He currently attends Texas A&M University and is perusing his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He plans on graduating August 2010.
- Current and Past Jobs
- Jonathan was a co-op for Trane at their residential systems plant in Tyler, Texas. He worked in the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Department, working on increasing the efficiency of the assembly line automatic brazing process of air handler units. He is currently working part time for FMC Technologies at their design center in College Station, Texas. He will be interning with FMC Technologies in Houston, summer 2009, in the Subsea Tree Department.
- Why Did You Join KTE?
- Jonathan joined KTE in 2008 because of the opportunity to spread the word of the advantages working as a co-op offered to other undergraduates at Texas A&M. Through his experience he gained during his co-op he wanted to get more students involved with the co-op program in hopes that they would gain the same positive experience and knowledge of the industry.
