- David Schick is currently attending The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio as a graduate student. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Welding Engineering from OSU in 2007. As a current graduate student, David is close to earning his Master of Science degree in Welding Engineering as well.

- During his undergraduate and graduate studies at The Ohio State University, he worked as an intern at the Rolls-Royce Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana. He worked as a Repair Engineer, Welding and Brazing Production Assistant, Welding and Brazing Joining Engineer and a Non-Destructive Test Engineer.

- David joined the Kappa Theta Epsilon organization for the ability to network with other members, to get involved in career services and to share his cooperative education experiences and advice with members.
